16:01:13 <abubakarsadiq> Thee is 1 pre-proposed meeting topics this week. Any last minute ones to add?
16:01:53 <theStack> hi
16:02:01 <abubakarsadiq> I'll start with working groups and skip those that are absent.
16:02:35 <eugenesiegel> hi
16:03:02 <jonatack> hi
16:03:07 <abubakarsadiq> #topic Fuzzing WG Update (dergoegge)
16:03:32 <marcofleon> I don't think he's present?
16:03:51 <abubakarsadiq> almost all the working group leads are not here
16:04:20 <marcofleon> fair enough, well i'm working on automated PR fuzzing and there are various new fuzz tests to review
16:04:42 <abubakarsadiq> #topic asmap file format & tooling (sipa)
16:05:07 <fjahr> That was last week?
16:05:31 <fjahr> And why not finish the WGs first
16:05:53 <abubakarsadiq> Okay, thanks it appears on the website.
16:05:57 <abubakarsadiq> #topic Net Split WG Update (cfields)
16:06:09 <cfields> No update this week. Should have an incoming pr or two in the next few days for a LocalAddressManager.
16:07:05 <abubakarsadiq> #topic Silent Payments WG Update (Novo__, theStack)
16:08:23 <abubakarsadiq> #topic QML GUI WG Update (johnny9dev)
16:08:23 <theStack> no update, mostly awaiting review for the silentpayments module PR https://github.com/bitcoin-core/secp256k1/pull/1765
16:08:44 <johnny9dev> For qml. This last week i added a gui functional test to my legacy wallet migration flow PR and undrafted the PR. This test will use v28 to create a wallet to migrate. I also completed the Fee selection controls for picking a couple of standard targets or entering a custom fee.
16:09:01 <yancy> hi
16:09:04 <johnny9dev> epicleafies: can you give status?
16:09:38 <abubakarsadiq> theStack: I saw some update on the mailing list as well?
16:09:50 <brunoerg_> hi
16:10:25 <johnny9dev> Not sure epicleafies is here but he has a bunch of PRs up for the qml. Some of the ones he worked on the last week was the desktop tray and the BIP321 integrations
16:10:26 <epicleafies> yeah, this past week I've created a pr for adding bip21 uri support and updating previous PRs
16:10:34 <johnny9dev> thanks
16:10:54 <theStack> abubakarsadiq: ah yes, that was a demonstration of the worst-case scanning attack on signet. wallets can use this to see if/how they are affected
16:10:56 <johnny9dev> I think with all of what we have in PR now we're down to 6 remaining tasks out of the original 21 list to get to feature parity
16:11:02 <johnny9dev> Address Book and Contacts Management, Receive Request History and BIP21 sharing, Replace-by-fee Speedup and Cancel, PSBT Import/Export, Sign/Verify message flow, External Signer/HWI
16:11:09 <johnny9dev> that is all for this week
16:12:21 <sipa> cool
16:12:27 <abubakarsadiq> #topic Libevent removal (pinheadmz, fjahr)
16:12:37 <fjahr> Update from pinheadmz (not here today): This week I addressed review on #34905 and #34772 both have concept ACK and stale ACK so should be the home stretch then I'll rebase the big daddy #32061 on those and incorporate new feedback there. Coverage results of libfuzzer and fuzzamoto are posted in the big PR, no crashes! I started on integration tests, first with lnd -- but there are already several non-http integration
16:12:37 <fjahr> issues between LND and core, from the buried taproot deployment and mempool policy changes in 29.1 (their CI is pinned at 29.0 today).
